Dave Price induction into the Alberta Agriculture Hall of Fame

Congratulations Dave Price!

The Sunterra family would like to share the good news and congratulate Dave Price, co-founder, past president, and company director of the Sunterra group of companies, on his induction into the Alberta Agriculture Hall of Fame.

The Alberta Agriculture Hall of Fame was created in 1951 to recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the agriculture and food industry and to the development and sustainability of rural life in Alberta.

Dave’s focus has always been on giving back to the community, teamwork, providing quality products and legendary service. With his leadership we are proud to carry those same beliefs to all levels of the Sunterra team. In addition to being honoured for being an innovator and visionary in swine genetics, production, processing and marketing, we would also like to recognize his significant community contributions in education, health care improvement & team sports with Greg's Wings Projects Ltd., Olds College, Golden Hills School Division, and Acme School.

Dave is not the first one of the Sunterra Family to be recognized with this honour, he joins his Dad, Stan Price who was inducted to the Alberta Agriculture Hall of Fame in 2002. Stan was recognized for his lifelong commitment to family values, improving industry standards, building communities and the vertical integration of food production from farm through to consumer. Stan, his wife Florence, Dave and his six siblings have provided a new definition to the enterprise known as the family farm.

Anybody who knows Dave knows how important being a positive influence to those around him is, and we thank him for the continued support and encouragement he provides to help us learn, grow, and pursue what inspires us.
